    Welcome

    Welcome from our Headteacher

As the Head Teacher of St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School, it is a real honour and privilege to welcome you to our school website. Governors, staff, parents, members of the parish and pupils all make St Augustine’s the outstanding school it is today.

Pupils at St Augustine's are growing to be…

  • Attentive and Discerning

Attentive to their experience and to their vocation; and discerning about the choices they make and the effects of those choices.

  • Compassionate and Loving

Compassionate towards others, near and far, especially the less fortunate; and loving by their just actions and forgiving words.

  • Eloquent and Truthful

Eloquent and truthful in what they say of themselves, the relations between people, and the world.

Last week year 2 ventured into Solihull to have a look at our local area. They tallied the types of shops they saw along the high street and stopped in Mell Square to draw a map. Year 2 also noticed how buildings looked different depending on when they were built.

Thank you to @bonanza.creative and Therese for a fantastic workshop linked to Carbon Monoxide this morning in Year 5. We learnt about its dangers and most importantly, how we can protect ourselves and our homes. We hope all of Year 5 come home and check that their carbon monoxide monitor is working!
