    Welcome

    Welcome from our Headteacher

As the Head Teacher of St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School, it is a real honour and privilege to welcome you to our school website. Governors, staff, parents, members of the parish and pupils all make St Augustine’s the outstanding school it is today.

Pupils at St Augustine's are growing to be…

  • Attentive and Discerning

Attentive to their experience and to their vocation; and discerning about the choices they make and the effects of those choices.

  • Compassionate and Loving

Compassionate towards others, near and far, especially the less fortunate; and loving by their just actions and forgiving words.

  • Eloquent and Truthful

Eloquent and truthful in what they say of themselves, the relations between people, and the world.

Our Year 5 classroom based their Epiphany learning on the Journey of the Star. Children enjoyed following the stars around school which led us to the stable and in KS2, we hunted for pieces of a jigsaw which created a star. We discussed that the star was a sign of God's love and thought about signs of God's love in our lives.
